The Final Round of the Nepal Road Racing Championship (NRRC) 2025, presented by Yamaha as the Title Sponsor, concluded on 20 December 2025 at the Dhulikhel Race Track, marking a high-energy end to the national racing season.

The season finale brought together Nepal’s top motorcycle racers, motorsport enthusiasts, and industry representatives, reinforcing NRRC’s status as the country’s premier road racing championship.

Yamaha has maintained a long-standing involvement in Nepal’s motorsports scene, supporting organized racing events, rider training programs, and national-level championships over the years.

NRRC 2025 featured three categories—National, Novices, and Women—with all riders competing on the Yamaha R15 under a one-make racing format. The standardized platform ensured fair competition by emphasizing rider skill over mechanical advantage. The R15’s track-focused engineering allowed racers to showcase their abilities in cornering, speed control, and race strategy.

In the National Category, multiple-time champion Shreehari Poudel claimed the title with a composed and consistent performance. The Novices Category highlighted emerging talent, with Abhi Risal securing the championship, while the Women’s Category showcased growing participation as Barsha Basnet took a commanding win.

Winners from NRRC 2025 are set to compete in upcoming international racing events, providing exposure to global competition and opportunities to represent Nepal internationally.

Through its continued involvement in NRRC, Yamaha continues to play a key role in developing Nepal’s motorsports ecosystem by promoting structured, skill-driven racing and supporting the growth of local riding talent.
